Islands of Adventure

Orlando, FL, USA
Universal Studios | 1999

Brief
Islands of Adventure featured six original IP-themed islands: Marvel Super Hero Island, Toon Lagoon, Jurassic Park, The Lost Continent, and Seuss Landing. Universal added the Wizarding World of Harry Potter in later years.

Brock Larsen led Master Planning with Greg Damon, facility planning and environmental design. After Islands of Adventure opened, Brock contributed to the Lorax attraction in Seuss Landing, the King Kong dark ride in Skull Island, and the Avengers attraction connected to Superhero Island.

The project was overseen by Mark Woodberry (current CEO of Universal Studios Theme Parks and Resorts).
