Located between the water’s edge and the racefront, a fully-functional promenade and harbor with a marina and yacht club opened for the relocated and inaugural Formula 1 Saudi Arabian Grand Prix in 2021.
The project included three restaurants, expansive retail space, yacht club, sailing academy and boat services, and the 80-room Edition hotel. The promenade features another 15 restaurants and 25 retail stores, waterfront walkway, plus games and activities for families.
Brock Larsen led Master Planning and Creative Concept with Tony Christopher for SELA, in association with Branislav Hetzel as consulting designer on the Promenade and Larry Nelson as consulting designer on the Yacht Club.
